The Center for Integrated RF Engineering (CIRFE) was established by Prof. Raafat Mansour at the University of Waterloo. It houses a Class 10,000 clean room and a characterization laboratory for RF devices. The facility is funded by Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Ontario Innovation Trust (OIT) and COM DEV.
